Jackson
Sanford Jackson, an academic
stand out junior at Orange
Glen High School in Escondido, Ca. His interests include
video production, acting, track and field, and politics. He has
hopes that his pursuit of good grades and extra curricular
activities will get him the opportunity to attend a prestigious
university
after his senior year.
His interest in video
production is evident by his recent projects and that he is a finalist for
Sony’s Star Class Project, a competition for a
$10,000 college scholarship. Eligibility is based on academics, community involvement,
involvement in school activities, and creativity. As part of his community involvement,
Sanford has already won a Sony DVD handy-cam camera based on
funds he raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
His other artistic pursuit is
acting. Sanford already has a lengthy acting resume.

As well being involved in the arts
Sanford is also on the Academic Team and the Varsity Poll Vaulting team for Orange Glen
High School.
His interest in politics is
clear by his
I Can Make
A Difference commercial. It is also illustrated by his selection to represent Orange Glen at
The American Legion’s Boy’s State program
in Sacramento, California this summer.
