What does Dan do for Holland America?

As of January 2007 Dan McLellan has served as both Cruise Director and DJ Emcee Director for Holland America.

As Cruise Director, Dan McLellan

• Plans, manages, and executes all entertainment aboard ship
   
• Writes and publishes a daily newspaper that informs guests of all shipboard activities
   
• He is also the social host of the ship including introducing and participating in main stage productions and organizing and joining in games, activities, and social events.

As a DJ Emcee, Dan is in charge of the nightclub as well as many of the social activities aboard the ship. Frequently he can be found on the main stage hosting and participating in the various game shows that are performed throughout each cruise for entertainment. He is also responsible for running all bingo sessions.
