Dan's Big Ideas

  • The Creation of www.DanMcLellan.com
    For the last five weeks my main Big Idea has been the creation of this web site as a tool to help further all my other Big Ideas along. By this time next week, this web site should be completed to the point that I can start spreading the word about it. On June 15th I leave to the Netherlands and Italy for two weeks with Abby and when I return it will be time to start working on the rest of my Big Ideas.

  • Finishing www.DamGoodBalloons.com
    As soon as I get www.DanMcLellan.com officially released, I need to go back to work on the balloon site. To complete that site, I need to finish outlining a few creations and all of the hats. I then need to get together with Theresa and spend a day re-shooting all of the pictures.
     
  • Marketing my web pages and pursuing radio broadcasting through pod casting
    I honestly believe that the DAM Good Shopping! section of this site can become a form of additional income.  One idea I have for marketing the store is to do pod cast interviews with the individuals in my DAM Good! section. In the pod casts I will do brief commercials for the store. The individuals that I interview will hopefully e-mail their contacts regarding the pod cast interview and the word will spread regarding the store.

  • Get a new agent and pursue acting
    After my trip to Europe, I need to get a list of all SAG franchised agents and submit to them.
     
  • Film The Car That Runs On Sun with Sanford
    I need to check with Sanford soon to see what his summer schedule looks like.

  • Create a 45 minute stage magic/mentalist show
    I am meeting with David from McDonalds soon to pursue possibly being a backup Big Clown (that's all I can legally say) for the San Diego market. This may be a good opportunity to start doing 45 shows quickly and start working toward developing my own show.
     
  • Pursue comedy again
    I really enjoyed doing that previously and the stage time would help with a lot of other things including cruise ship work. I need to find out where the open microphone nights are around San Diego.
