![]() I like the fact that I am diverse in what things that bring me pleasure. What you may not have guessed by looking at the rest of my web site is that I was raised on what is virtually a small farm in Crest. Crest was then and in many ways still is the rural area of San Diego. Therefore, some of my hobbies are outdoors related and include horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. I also enjoy other typical guy stuff like attending sporting events, especially baseball & football (I have Charger Season tickets), and playing poker. That being said, I am just as comfortable going out on the town and enjoying a good dinner with a movie or play and perhaps some dancing.

Poker No, I wasn't in the main event. I played at a very low limit, 4-8 Texas Hold 'Em live game. My World Series experience lasted 2-hours and cost me $80.
Chargers While working for Picnic People, my connection to the Chargers grew as I managed a great deal of the team's pre-game fan entertainment (balloons, face painting, stilt walking and caricature artists). During that time I attended practices and entertained at events specifically for players, staff members, and their families. Now that I have left Picnic People, I still feel close to the team as another good friend Nova Rogers' mother, Georgette, is the executive receptionist for the Chargers. Maybe, this year the San Diego Super Chargers will go all the way!
I have included this page because fishing and hunting is just as much a part of who I am as anything else. I very much believe in conservation and protecting the environment, especially endangered species, but I am not a vegan or a vegetarian. I like meat and believe the protein that meat provides our bodies is good for us. That being the case, I believe that in the long run, it is more ethical and better for us to eat something that has had a chance to live free in the wild than the confines of a cage. I also believe if animals are to be killed that it should be done as quickly and painless as possible and that they should be consumed. One should not kill only for the pure sport of it.
